I learned how NOT to do a few things in making this and am driven to give it another go. This vid highlights most of the process; I started with a clay model. I cast the blue-green silicone on top of the clay. I then assembled the embedment (the colored rods you see) and suspended that into a lens mold and pressure-cast it
