He mimicked Cocker’s famously erratic movements, gravelly voice, and intense facial expressions while performing songs like “With a Little Help from My Friends” — often while standing just feet away from the real Joe Cocker himself. Joe Cocker said he was initially unsure how to feel, but later called it “amusing and kind of strange,” ultimately embracing it with a good sense of humor.
