Readiness in Action CAL FIRE crews from Prado Helitack, and the Pilot Rock Fire Center recently completed troop shuttle training—a key exercise that prepares firefighters to be transported safely and efficiently by helicopter during wildland incidents and mission tasked assignments. Helitack crews removed about one and half miles of hose from the containment line in the southeast corner of the #fourconersfire Monday. A Type 2 helicopter carried more than 2200 pounds of hose, pumps, gas cans and hardware to the Incident Command Post.
